On "Campus" there are 252 fully furnished rooms located on three floors. In the rooms each student has a bed, bedside table with lamp, wardrobe, desk, chair, set of drawers and bookshelves. Bathrooms are en suite and are all equipped with showers. All rooms have telephone lines, TV aerial, Internet and Intranet connections. Bed linen and blankets are provided and are included in the rent. (Bed linen is changed weekly). Towels can be provided and changed weekly (see price list).
All the double rooms are at least 20 square meters excluding the bathroom, while single rooms are at least 13 square meters excluding the bathroom. Beds are 2 metres long and 90 centimetres wide.
FACILITIES
Two communal kitchen facilities are available on second and third floors. Kitchen facilities have hotplates, microwaves, sinks and tables. A small number of cupboards are also available but, as you are required to provide your own cooking equipment, you are advised to store it in your room.
Alternatively, students can eat at a reasonable price in the self service restaurant (Mensa) on the Residence ground floor. It serves hot meals every day at midday and in the evening. Students wanting to save time and money can apply for the half board option. This service includes breakfast and one meal (lunch or dinner) every day for the period (minimum 4 months) of your stay.
On Campus there are also other facilities such as: a café and sandwich bar; a laundry room where students can wash, dry and iron their clothes using coin-operated machines (tokens can be bought at the reception); common reading rooms and leisure time rooms; a bank where it is possible to open an account at special conditions and convert currency, travel and Euro cheques for a maximum daily total of 300 Euros; a book shop; a music room where students can play their own instruments; and a computer room with free internet connection
N.B.= We strongly recommend students bring their own laptops for their personal use.
