ENROLMENT PROCEDURES FOR EXCHANGE STUDENTS

Application
To be accepted as an Exchange Student at LIUC you must be registered as a student in your home university and apply through the exchange programme at the International Office of your home university. If your university has no exchange agreement with LIUC please refer to the information under Visiting students
Application forms are NOT on-line, please refer to the International Office at your university to receive the updated forms.

Registration
After receiving the completed application form, the International Office at LIUC will confirm your acceptance as an exchange, Erasmus or visiting student and will send you further information on accommodation, courses and registration. Please ensure that these forms are sent by the deadlines indicated below.

Learning agreement

It describes the programme of study abroad and is drawn up by the individual student and institutions involved before the departure.

It is particularly important to send this form by the deadline stated above, especially if you intend to study in English since numbers for each course are limited.

Language Knowledge

LIUC offers courses both in Italian and English. It is therefore not a pre-requisite that international students have prior knowledge of the Italian language. However, it is compulsory for students who have had no exposure to Italian language whatsoever to take a beginner course in Italian (Italian level 1 or 2) to give them the basic skills for their every day life here in Italy.

This will give you an insight into the Italian way of life and give you Survival Italian for your stay in the country.

Those students following the Italian Programme can choose to follow an Intermediate-Advanced Level course in Italian called Italian level 3. Some universities require their students to take this course and so please check with your University before you leave.

Students at levels 1 or 2 wishing to do extra hours of Italian language can enrol for a Level 1 + or Level 2 +, according to their level.
